From the ripe young age of 3, Tia started to dress herself and would usually change 5 times a day depending on the activity.  She loves expressing herself through what she wears and finds it to be one of the easiest ways to stay creative on a regular basis.

Tia has always loved dressing her friends and family and encouraging them to step out of their personal boundaries.  She believes in finding style from within oneself and that what you wear can alter your mood and everyone can use clothing as a tool to dress how they want to feel.  Similar to the philosophy: keep smiling and you should eventually feel happier.

Tia Star always planned on owning her own business and when she realized there was an opportunity to be one of the first online boutiques in Canada she jumped on it and hasn't looked back since.  It has been a whirlwind adventure and she has loved every moment of TiaStar.com.  "I am always amazed how nice customers are, even though I have only 'virtually' met them."  Tia explains, "I love helping customers out with picking the right size and even a whole outfit.  It puts a smile on my face when a customer takes the time to write me a thank you email after they have received their order."  In this day and age, Tia believes it's important for customers to know they are appreciated and to give them the time and help they deserve plus she finds it fun!

When Tia isn't picking out clothing for the next season, updating the website (new products are going up every week) and working with customers, she spends most of her time with her very supportive husband and their two cats Rocco and Bella.  If you have a question for Tia, please ask!  She would love to hear from you and will do her best to respond to you within 1 business day.
